History of the manuscrit in collection: 
"Le volume contient plusieurs inscriptions et marques de propriété au fol. 1r. Ces inscriptions nous permettent de reconstruire partiellement l'histoire du manuscrit. Il semble que le manuscrit ait été vendu au XIVe siècle (la main de la première inscription ne semble pas dater d'avant cette date). Toujours au XIVe siècle, selon la deuxième inscription, le manuscrit appartenait à John Grandisson, évêque d'Exeter (1327-1369). Au XVIe siècle, le codex appartenait à Richard Bruarn, qui occupait la chair royale d'hébreu à l'Université d'Oxford ans les années 1548-1559, et qui l'a donné au College Christ Church en 1565. On ne sait pas quand le manuscrit est arrivé à l'Abbaye de Westminster. En 1624 l'Abbaye a reçu trois livres hébreux dans la donation faite par John Williams, évêque de Lincoln (1621-1641). Cependant, il semble que les livres de la donation de Williams aient péri dans l'incendie de 1694. Notre Pentateuque a donc dû arriver après cette date. La reliure du manuscrit est en cuir brun sur de fines planchettes de bois. Décorée au rouleau, elle est similaire à celle du MS WA 2. Londres, XVIIe siècle." (Olszowy-Schlanger, 2003)
