The manuscript was the property of Cardinal Mazarin (1602-1661), then the royal library in 1668. Nicolas Clément mentions this manuscript in his catalogue (1682). The manuscript has been stolen in 1998, strongly damaged: 62 ff. of the Haftarot are now missing (originally 323 ff. now 261 ff.). The manuscript has been trimmed (60 mm and 30 mm). The binding has been changed; some owners' notes have been erased but readable in Wood Lamp; a selling act has is missin on f. 261v. The manuscript has been selected for an official selling in 2000 by Christie's New York, friday 19 may 2000, lot 224, p. 199. The manuscript returned back to the BnF.
